Do ultra-fast Adat Session Mixdowns.
With no need to do a time consuming transfer to a hard disk
for level balancing, panning, etc, you can mix an entire Adat
tape the first run through.
Do precision automated Adat mixes through your computer
sequencer
Since your sequencer can instantly chase lock to any location on
tape, you can tweak and retweak levels, pan positions, and
effect levels a few tracks at a time until your mix sounds
exactly right and CD ready.
Automate the mixdown of your analog decks
By striping SMPTE onto one of the tracks of an analog deck
with your MIDI card, automate your analog tracks.
Mix down to 4 tracks
The aux output can be used as a second main output allowing
you to mix down to 4 tracks for discrete surround sound
situations.
Perform remote selection of signal sources for live sound
applications. By attaching mics, CD players and other
signal sources to the Cosmix, you can route or duck inputs to
multiple outputs remotely.
Expand the Cosmix for up to 128 input Tracks
Up to 16 Cosmix units can be connected to allow mixdown of up to
128 tracks to stereo with a separate stereo processor at every 8
tracks. Or by distributing a single 8 track source to several
Cosmix units at once, you can process the sound to 8, 12, 16 or
more speakers creating massive surround sound arrays
Expand some more
By expanding in both directions, you can mix dozens of
signal sources to dozens of speakers, and with bandwidth saving
sysex commands, you won't need a whole lot of computing power to
do it.
